Meet Mya
Hi Friend, I am so happy to meet you! My name is Mya. Please accept a warm welcome to my town, Starfly Immersive!
I am a child at heart originating from Western New York. I have travelled across the United States to learn the craft of immersive play and have finally settled down to create my very own version of it. Through my travels, I have worked as an Imagineer at Disney, Meow Wolf, and Great Wolf Lodge crafting a culture from kindness that adopts innovation and out-of-the-box thinking with education degrees from The Boston Conservatory and Savannah College of Art & Design. I LOVE creating immersive environments that inspire children to embrace their true authentic selves through storytelling and imaginative play. Children add to this magic through their own perspectives and imaginations which allows our storytelling practices to develop at deeper levels of engagement. Therefore, our "worlds" feel almost real from this secret ingredient. Yes, we have AWESOME set designs and have super TALENTED live entertainment actors. But, the magic stems from your bright, little "starflies." Thank you for trusting me to create special and magical moments with your children.
With that said... We currently utilize BALLOON ART to craft new worlds for children's events. We would love to collaborate with you! One day, we hope to create a REAL town called Starfly Immersive inviting your little ones to embark on ISPY Adventures to find lost treasures in various themed homes: Spooky Mansion, Fun House, Mystery House, School House, Fantasy House, and MANY MORE!
